I'm feeeling soooo excited to be in Melbourne. Am flying in tomorrow evening and will be staying there till Sunday noon. Definitely doing the makan-sutra and of course the night scene as well. How can i miss that? If i miss it, i'm definitely not Lynette anymore. :)
I am so excited that I actually pack my bags earlier than what I did before coming over to Canberra. For instance, flying to Canberra, I only started packing like 5 hours before leaving for the airport, that means i didn't have like enough sleep coz I procrastinate till the 'last' hour before chucking in things into my luggage. For the Melbourne trip, I started packing 2 days before my trip... so now with these examples, I think you can imagine how excited I am NOW!
Anyway, will be bringing the cam, so am gonna take a lot of pictures and upload it to show you my adventures in Melbourne, if I can... hehe.. sometimes I get too sexcited that I might forget. ^_^

Outdated Updates
Over the 4 weeks that i've not posted, I felt like I'm so out of touch. I was procrastinating day after day to blog but finally, I got my ass down and start typing to fill up my boring journal. There's so much that I want to write here but I don't want to be so 'cheong hei' so am going to cut it as short as I can.
Firstly, I got a job within 3 weeks of coming here *congratulations to me*. I'm working for a small online holiday accomodation company and my duty consists of answering emails, phone calls and admin work. It's basically like an IT support job, just that i do basic IT support. My working environment consists of less than 10 people in the Canberra office and they are nice people, if I compare them to my ex-company. Been working for 2 weeks now and I'm still learning new stuff... what to do ar... i've been termed as the New Kid.
Secondly, we got rid of the 'dirty' hsemate. *hallelujah* I will be moving into her room though since it's bigger and has a built in robe. The room I'm staying now is not enough to handle my clothes. But there's lots of cleaning to do before I move in. I need to clean the room, the toilet as it's too yucky to even mention it here but I did mention it in my last post though.
Life's looking good here even though it's a dead state. Too boring for me to enjoy but then again, my colleague is going to bring me out for the gal's night one of the weekends when her fiance is not back to visit her. Oh and yesterday, my boss just mentioned that we were suppose to go for a business award night in September and guess what, I'm going...... gonna be plenty of booze, food and PARTTTAAYYY!!! Sad thing is that now I have to scout for a cocktail dress to wear.... :(
Oh yeah, another update, I've finally gotten myself a camera. It's a Canon Ixus 70 and I'm so lovin it now. Been cam whoring myself but because I look so blah.. I cannot post it up yet. Will do so when I have the opportunity to 'fah chong' and become my old self again.. the cw. *snicker*
p/s: my SIL and her bf with the cousin n husband is coming over to Melbourne next week for a holiday, so hubs n I are going over to Melbourne to meet them and do the whole tourist thingy there. Soooo excited I can't even wait to pack my stuff :) Will be reaching Melb on the 12th and coming back to dead city on the 17th noon.
